INSTALLATION OF THE LAUREL MARSH TRAIL BRIDGE OVER THE HOCKANUM RIVER, NOVEMBER 1993

In November, 1993, installation of a bridge over the Hockaum River, connecting both shores of the Laurel Marsh Trail, was accomplished.

The bridge itself was built in Minnesota in 3 sections -- an 80-foot long center section, plus two 30-foot long approaches -- and was then trucked to Manchester. The sections were installed on 2 concrete piers which were already in place.
