All Hockanum River hiking trails are dedicated to hiking, jogging, nature study, wild flower photography, bird watching and (where feasible) cross-country skiing.

 - Bicycles and all motorized vehicles are prohibited by Town ordinance.

 - Fishing is allowed from all trails, though by Town ordinance it is catch and release only.

 - Hikers are urged not to litter, and dogs must be leashed.

 - Wild flowers are to be viewed or photographed but not picked.

The Committee urges everyone to enjoy the scenic beauty and tranquility of our river trail system and help us to protect this nature preserve for posterity.
