• Source To Sea Hockanum River Clean-Up in Manchester

When: October 1, 2011    9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: At the Union Pond trail.
Parking: At the Union Pond boat launch on North School Street.

• We're looking for BOTH kayakers and hikers to help in the clean-up.
• Bottled water, trash bags and work gloves will be provided.
• Boaters are urged to bring their own their own boats, paddles and personal floatation devices for use on both Union Pond and the Hockanum River.
• The Eighth Fire District Department volunteers will be invited to assist in their inflatable rescue boat to help collect bags of trash and carry them to the boat launch where they will be piled for removal by the Town Highway Department.
